How to find us

Madrid-Barajas airport (Adolfo Suárez) has 4 terminals. There is a free, interconnecting shuttle bus between the terminals. From the airport, you can reach the centre of Madrid and the Praktik Metropol by metro, bus, train or taxi:

By metro: There are metro stops in Terminal 2 and Terminal 4. You will need to get off at Nuevos Ministerios (15 minutes). Once you are at Nuevos Ministerios you will need to change onto line 10 towards Puerta del Sur, and get off at Alonso Martínez. Here you will need to change onto line 5 towards Casa del Campo, and get off at Gran Via station. The Praktik Metropol is right in front of the metro stop. The ticket from the airport to Gran Vía costs €5.

By bus: From the airport you can take the Autobús Exprés and get off at Plaza Cibeles, which is a 15 minute walk from the Praktik Metropol. This is a frequent service which runs 24h, 365 days a year. It takes approximately 40 minutes and the ticket costs €5.

By taxi: From the airport to the city centre takes 20-30 minutes and has a fixed price of €30. Radio Taxi Madrid accepts all credit cards and takes reservations. You can book your taxi by calling +34 915 47 82 00.

Notice: Metro Line 8 to the Madrid-Barajas airport will be closed until 18 April 2017. The Madrid City Council has proposed, as alternatives for reaching the airport, three free bus services with the same timetable as the metro -from 6 am to 1:30 am- and has expanded Metro Line 4 service (which goes by Mar de Cristal) and line C-1 of the local train service between Chamartín and Barajas, so it runs every 15 minutes instead of the usual 30 minutes.

The quickest way to reach the Praktik Metropol is to take the Metro line 1. Also, an alternative is to take the train and stop at Sol (1 stop) and from there walk up to the Praktik Metropol following Montera street until number 47. Another option is to take a taxi from Atocha station (estimated cost 10€).
